(26) Type lll and IV, our most popular slings, are versatile enough to be used for Vertical, Basket and Choker hitches. Commonly used for a basket hitch, this type of sling has a loop or eye at each end. The eyes are at right angles to the lay of the webbing. A choker hitch can also be made by passing one eye around the load and through the other eye to form a slip noose, because it squeezes the load, a choker can often be used singly.
(26) Type V Endless Slings are highly versatile. Endless type slings are frequently selected as the most practicable and economical answer to numerous hoisting problems. As illustrated, they can be used in a choker arrangement or as a basket sling. Because load contact points can be changed with every lift, wear is evenly distributed and sling life is extended.
(16) Type VI is the most durable of our all-purpose nylon slings. It is available with or without wear pads sewn on both sides of the body and with or without reinforced eyes. Similar to eye and eye type, except the eye openings are on the same plane as the flat webbing, reverse eye slings are frequently used for choker as well as basket hitches.
